1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I am from Diamond City of Surat a city known for its business and love for the food. I started out as a food blogger and gradually shifted my focus to lifestyle and fashion blogging which was quite innate to me. Coming from a city where influencer marketing was not known much, the ride was not an easy one it was a roller coaster with many things cropping up. We can put it this way rising after fall is what matters.

2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?

My love for food and fashion lead me to start out my page on Instagram. Initially it was about food and after getting a lot of recognition from my fans and family I shifted to fashion and lifestyle  blogging. Having collaborated with more than 250 brands, there was no looking back.

3. How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?

As we can see that the online industry is blooming always, it gives plethora of opportunities to make it big.

The terms blogger and influencer is  often interchangeably used but they both are different.

Blogger in simple terms is the one who manages a blog, a blogger is one who has his own website and they have  ultimate control over the content they publish. There are some misconceptions that a blogger is an influencer which is not possible and unless he  promotes the products to persuade its audience to use
them.

While an influencer as the  name suggests influences its audience to purchase a product of brand they are  working with ,he someone who has a online platform with mass following and has a great impact on its audience. While blogging is a very big field ,  but also the blog posts which we see on a social media can be categorised as microblogging ,while the influencer on the other hand does not have to have a blog as contrary to a blogger. So we can put this way that influencing comes under blogging while the other way is not applicable to an extent.

4. Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?

Many times I do come across questions from my audience that ,is blogging financially sustainable or not. So I would like to point out the very first thing that getting an audience is a major breakthrough to which brands look forward to while working with you.

Brands don't collaborate unless you have a good organic audience to whom you can promote and initially you have to work for freebies , i.e they send you products on which you develop your content. After a considerable following they pay you and in the starting you can look forward to blogging as your side thing till you get that impact and wider audience to take up as a main thing.

5. What do you think influences consumer behavior?

Consumer behaviour is based on some factors like how a product appeals to them psychologically aesthetically emotionally and more emphatically in economic terms. Sometimes quantity matters while sometimes quality and also how a particular brand creates space in the consumer's mind is also taken into account.

Consumers perception is a major factor that influences its buying behaviour their advertisements , promotions, reviews social media they all add up to its buying pattern.

While if we look from an influencer's eye the audience out there would look forward to a product which gives them the satisfaction they were looking for . They do get influenced by products we put up on our media handles, if they go for it and find it appealing then, word of mouth plays well.

6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

Me inside me is the me I will be.. the mantra which i follow everywhere

7. How can someone become a successful social media influencer?

The very first thing to enter into this field would require identifying your niche. A niche is something which  encompasses that particular area in which you are interested and you can create content for.
When I started out as a food blogger I gradually recognised that I am more into fashion and lifestyle blogging .

Next thing I would emphasize is consistency. Consistency is the key. We have to be consistent to keep your audience engaged ,you have to be innovative and there should be  something new everyday which creates a space in your audience's mind, as in the end it is the audience that matters most in this field.
There will be days when you feel like quitting but one should not give into that and should remember always why I started out that passion will keep you driving.

Let brands know that you are open for collaboration find brands from your niche , who are looking for collaborations reach out to them. it is really important to build a name for yourself in network with brands in your niche as that builds a good space for future and long-term collaborations.

8. Which is your favorite book and why?

I'm not an avid book lover but yes I do believe that life is the best book you can find as it gives you the lessons which you are not going to find in any of the written texts out there.
