1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Professionally I am an engineer working in an MNC. Being a Delhi guy, I believe the love for food flows in the blood. From Paratha Gali to Hauz Khas we Delhiites love exploring food. For me, blogging was a random idea, but selecting food as the subject was very natural. It all started in college with friends, and since then the ball is still rolling.

From attending bloggers meet to organizing one, the journey has been great. Currently, I have 42K+ followers on Instagram, and I have started my youtube channel as well. From street food to cafes and restaurants, I enjoy exploring food, reviewing them, and spread the love for food among people.

In fact, my mom is my guide on this journey. Together we keep trying new dishes, present something unique to my followers, and create quality and original content.

2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content, and how did you start?

Basically, everything started in the second year of my engineering college. Almost like every engineer in our free time, my friends and I used to discuss new ideas, business, and many other kinds of stuff. My friend circle comprised of very extrovert individuals and for some reason, everyone was very fascinated with blogging, vlogging, and content creation.

I being a shy guy never thought of doing these things, but then there is herd behavior. Food being my passion, I thought of starting blogs on it. Gradually I started being a part of blogger's meet, and my interest grew in this. It was one thing that I enjoyed doing, and it started opening new avenues for me. It was a mere interest which then shaped into vlogging and content creation for me.

3. Is vlogging and Instagram content creation a financially sustainable career?

Well, in the true sense, it is a potential career option, but it might not be a financially stable option for all. A lot of people are competing against each other for good and original content. Moreover, there are already a few established content creators, and it takes a lot of time to grow that followers' list.

It becomes challenging to rise from the crowded area to the crown spot. Also bringing new and original content on the table is very important for sustainability. For me, it is a fun-filled, recreational activity.

4. Who is your favorite creator and why?

I really admire the work of “DilSeFoodie” he is really a nice artist. The way he does blogging is unique that makes him stand out of the crowd. The best part thing to learn from him is the way he engages his audience how he interacts within videos feels like somewhere you are interacting with him and you can relate very well. I appreciate his work always and learn a lot from him!

5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

As we know "Charity begins at home", and for me, contents emerge at home. My mom is a major source of inspiration for me. There are so many unique things that lie in our kitchen, but we miserably fail to acknowledge them. I try to bring those unique ideas, recipes, and the feeling of "maa ke hath ka khana" in front of my audience.

The local street food vendor is another source that keeps me rolling. Due to high competition in the local market, they continuously bring something new at the table for the customers. But more often than not, their effort doesn't reach the broader section of society. My blogs are also dedicated to boost their original ideas and bring them to light.

6. What does your typical day look like?

Haha! I literally laughed when I think where my day goes! I am luckily at home in these tough times and I am working from home so I start my day a bit late as I am a lazy lad and work till late. Meanwhile, I take some breaks to make sure I keep my Instagram family engaged and keep on posting the food content. I usually decide this content every evening before I sleep as It's tough to select and decide what to post while I am working.

I really miss those beautiful times where my typical day routine was a whole lot different I used to arrange bloggers to meet and visit some cafes. Try out some unique food joint and shoot and click the whole day.

I would really thank my Mom as she helps me with my daily routine very well and we prepare nice and tasty recipes every weekend together!

7. Which is your favorite book, and why?

Well, as I have mentioned, I am a foodie, and I like experimenting with food and keep trying something out-of-the-box, so most of my time is dedicated to that. Whenever I get time, I read only one type of book- Cookery Books. So a cookbook, with loads of new recipes is my favorite one.

8. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?

We all know that content is the king, but the real truth is in originality.

With such intense competition, plagiarism, insensitive content, and many such things are coming forefront. We as content creator community need to ensure that we continuously bring fresh, original, and sensible content for our followers.
