Openly seek and share information and knowledge with your companions. Seek to be understood and to understand your fellow mates. Connect with the world outside the school too, via blogging and social media, and follow organizations relating to international education. Collaborate with people in school and outside the school, virtually and face-to-face to ensure the best decision making.

The school requires a leader who can bring a change, a difference in the atmosphere for good. So try to build up ties with different NGOs and other organizations.
Organize fundraisers and special events that can spread awareness regarding various social subjects such as cancer or AIDS. You will fulfil and boost your purpose as a leader.
Be Respectful and Trustworthy
If you give respect, only then you will earn respect. Respect your teachers, your friends and the other staff members of the school and then only they will respect you as their leader. Gain their trust and make them believe whatever you do is for their benefit. Respect and trust are the two most important qualities that a leader should have.
Stay Optimistic and Spread Optimism
A good leader always possesses the quality of optimism. You should be optimistic and help others stay optimistic. In situations of panic, keep yourself and your friends calm too. Help your friends if they face any difficulties.
Do not let anyone feel inferior to others, instead make their perspective towards their existence positive. If someone around you feels subjugated, make them believe that they are empowered. Only through this, you will become a true leader in the eyes of your friends and others.
Be Open-Minded and Try to Understand Others
Understanding the circumstances and listening to what your mates have to say will help you become a good leader not only in school but also outside of school. Be open-minded and give your friends a flexible and safe atmosphere. Listen to them and help them.
Becoming a leader at such a tender age is a tough job, but once you decide to become one, don’t let anything stop you. Help the children at your school, aim at becoming the president of the student body of your school. Stop any anti practices going on in school like bullying and ragging, to name a few. As a leader, you shall inspire your companions with your pure intentions for the school and encourage them to do the same for the institution.
