It Took Time to Understand Things but I Really Loved the Process - Sanskar Khemani

My journey in the starting was really tough, as an unrecognised blogger, I found it difficult to interact and get involved. But then sooner I reached to more people in the city because of my content which helped me to grow.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I'm currently a student pursuing Mass Media from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. Been in this field for over 2 years now, Its was all possible because of my love for food & hunger to try different & new dishes.

My journey in the starting was really tough, as an unrecognised blogger, I found it difficult to interact and get involved. But then sooner I reached to more people in the city because of my content and that helps me to grow.

I'm really thankful to everyone who has been there with me in the ups & downs of my journey!

2. What led you to do food blogging?

Honestly, I never knew there is something such as food blogging. I used to post pictures and just tell what is best in the city to my followers. But then my friend told me about ‘Food Blogging’. And then I started my page.

Initially, it took time to understand things & work upon them but really loved the process. So I started recommending places to people who use to follow me & give my reviews about the places.

I always try to keep my Page/Blog positive, that is, I encourage and share people only the good places & that are worth trying.

3. What does your typical day look like?

A typical day for me includes having yummy food made by my mom for sure. Also sometimes I receive food parcels from restaurants & cafes. Apart from eating, I love to workout to burn those extra calories.

My workout includes- Floor exercise, Gym training, Cycling & Walking. And along with this, I spent my time in creating content for my page like editing videos, clicking pictures of food and other things. Lastly, I also spend some of my time in online games such as PUBG & LUDO.

4. When did you first decide that you wanted to create and write content about food i.e. for blogging?

It was like nearly after my 10th, I got to know about Food blogging and then after that, I started creating content. It took me time to understand things and figure out things as it was really new to me.

The process was not that easy, there were many things that I did not have knowledge about and many things that were new to me. But slowly, as I got the knowledge, I started creating good & quality content.

5. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

Chicken Bae-ryani & Butter Chicken. These are the two dishes that I associate with. Always a huge fan of Butter Chicken & I'm really picky for a good and perfect Butter Chicken. When it comes to Biryani, Its an emotion.

Thus I renamed it as - BAE-RYANI. These two items are my favourite & I can really have them for weeks, provided it from my favourite place or it has my desired taste.

6. Which is your favourite book and why?

I am not really a book person. But I have read some books like - The Secrets of Droon, Narnia, Harry Potter & a few more. But booking reading is one thing that I really need to start. There are many great books out there. Some of the books that I would love to read are - The Secret & The Fault in Our Stars.
