Food blogging can be chosen as a career when you study in the field of influencer, digital creator, content creator, go and opt for it definitely. This will be the most interesting and best outlook to the outside world.


1. Tell us about your background and journey. 

Hello everyone. I am Dimple running the page ‘@dimplethefoodblogger’ on Instagram. So where should I start from? Firstly I want to thank ‘eat my news’ for giving me such an opportunity to present me, my journey, my views with you all.

I am a dentist by profession and food blogger plus home chef by my passion. I am actually from Gurgaon (my native’s place) but never lived there as my father was in Air force. I am living in Delhi from past 10 years. You know after living at so many places - Pune, Bengaluru, Assam, Bareilly, Gwalior, Kota - I got a trait and enthusiasm of tasting different city food and meeting new people, because I love it the most. 

All these things contributed me to start this page of food blogging, and obviously being a food blogger I am definitely a foodie plus the passion of clicking pictures of food and myself took me here. I am way too photogenic and liked to be clicked.

I created this page on 26th july 2019, recently we have celebrated our 1 year anniversary. It's very hectic for a doctor to do the blogging as well as treat the patients, but what you want to achieve if you do it heartily nobody can stop you
to achieve that. This white coat girl with blogging is looking forward to many more years and support from you all.


2. Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?

I have eaten at many places but chicken is my forever love. I can't imagine my life without chicken. Favourite cuisine- North Indian and Chinese food as I am a North Indian by heart.

North Indian - chole bhature and chicken (chilly chicken, fried chicken, lemon chicken , butter chicken).

Chinese- veg hakka noodle with chilli chicken gravy.


3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

Yes food blogging can be chosen as a career when you study in the field of influencer, digital creator, content creator, go and opt for it definitely. This will be the most interesting and best outlook to the outside world.

You meet new people. It has become a great business too in today's world. You invest and you earn. It can be a passion too like me. I am following my passion with my career (dentistry).

Some people think blogging is an easy task but it's not. We invest 24hrs in this to entertain our followers.


4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

I will suggest
Pind balluchi- connaught place , new delhi
Kwality restaurant - city centre, gwalior , madhya pradesh
Amrik sukhdev- murthal , haryana


5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?

1) the taste of the dish matters.
2) the place matter(i can eat street food as well as restaurant food provided they should taste good)
3) presentation matters
4) it should be hygienic


6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

Yes, I particularly associate myself with RAMALAI and KFC CHICKEN. There's a long story behind loving these two dishes.


7. Which is your favourite book and why?

I am more like a love story reading person and live in my own fantasies.
chetan bhagat novels are my all time favourites. Can not specify one , every book is at priority.
