1. Tell us about you and yours organization's background and journey

I'm an artist by profession who paints on Rural happiness and share a strong interest in human and animal welfare.

My passion of working on inequality and social issues prevailing in India led to Annsagar Foundation which aims to work on various poverty related issues including malnutrition, scarce and unclean water, lack of sanitation, poor education, skill-development, sustainability and gender inequality.

Annsagar Foundation is a non profit organization formed under companies act, 2013 located in Gurgaon and has been providing free meals to poor and underprivileged of all age groups for more than 2+ years . We serve hygienic free lunch to more than 1500 people of the nearby areas of Palam Vihar - Gurgaon. We also feed for the stray animals o regular basis

Our Foundation helps the needy with the household items and we provide necessary stationary items to the underprivileged kids which would be very useful for their education. We have covered as much area as possible and our try to reach each and every person and make sure that no one goes empty stomach to sleep.

2. What made you to start this organization?

While painting on the slum life of India, I explored that there are thousands of children who do not have access to food and education. So I decided to start a Non Governmental Organization to contribute to society and bring happiness in the slum life by providing them with food, utilities and quality education.

3. What are your current works?

The whole of India, and indeed the whole world, is reeling under the intense impact of the Pandemic COVID-19, due to which the entire country is under total lock-down. Under such circumstances, the lowest strata of the society who depend on their daily earning to get by, have been the worst hit.

In this time of distress, unexpected and unprecedented event of Covid -19 pandemic Annsagar team has worked hard to deliver food among those in need in many slum areas.

During the pandemic we have successfully distributed around 2500+ food boxes twice per day adhering to all safety and hygienic measure. At this point of time I would like to extend my gratitude to Gurgaon police because they continued to help us in order to make this a great success.

4. What would you like to say to the people out there?

God has given us two hands; one to receive with and the other to give with.
Lets give love to those in need. We believe that we can save more lifes with you.
