1. Please tell us about your background and journey.

I am a qualified Computer Engineer, a Professional Actor and a full time Content Creator. I started my Journey after a friend recommended me to start an Instagram Page in the beginning of 2018. I used to write a lot on Zomato since a long time and also click a lot of Food Pictures and Videos but not with the motive to upload it somewhere.

Finally I thought that I should make some good use of the Food Content that I had since such a very long time and then there was no looking back. I have done more than 185 Restaurant Reviews, 100 Product Reviews and 25 Staycation Reviews in the past 3 Years.

2. Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?

Being a vivid Food lover, I don't have a favourite cuisine as such but Mughlai and Chinese definitely top my list. My favourite dish has to be Dum Biryani. I am a very big Biryani fan and can go to any corner of the World to eat a good Biryani.

3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

It always depends on your choices and priorities. I have managed to make a full time career out of Food Blogging by doing it besides my Professional Acting Assignments.

It can definitely become a regular career if you devote your time in planning good content for your Audience and start getting a good response on the Social Media platforms.

4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

There's so much to share regarding this. Firstly you can always visit my Page @foodie_actor_engineer on Instagram to check the various Food Joints and Restaurants that I have visited or recommended.

Let's start with Street Food. Khau Gallis of Ghatkopar, Mulund, Churchgate,Carter Road, SNDT to Cross Maidan, Mohammed Ali Road, Kharghar, Tardeo, Zaveri Bazaar, Princess Street and Mahim are my favorite when it comes to trying a variety of Street Food together.

I always visit these places to try some authentic Street Food Dishes. There's Ashok Vada Pav near Kirti College, Masala Vada Pav near Kalidas Natyamandir, Mulund, Gajanan Vada Pav in Thane, Pani Puri at Elco, Bandra, etc.

In Restaurants there's Raan Biryani from Persian Darbar in Bucylla, Baadshah Falooda at Crawford Market or Shalimar at Mohammad Ali Road, Baklava from Bayroute, Chicken Dum Biryani at Bismillah Catering in Airoli, Mutton Paya at Bhajan Payawala in Kopri area of Thane, etc

5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?

I love the simplicity of any particular dish. Simple with looks and very rich in flavours, that's what I love about Food Dishes. Also I love the way the dishes are presented in creative and thoughtful ways.

6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

I associate a lot with Chicken Dum Biryani since it's my most favourite dish and also because I believe in the word "Process" a lot. The dish is made with so much thought and so many ingredients that the outcome is to watch out for.

Also it's slowly cooked on a Dum and takes a really good time to cook. I am a similar person who likes to take things slow and with the flow, and I always take the process very seriously.

7. Which is your favourite book and why?

I am not a vivid reader but I try to manage the best that I can. My favourite book has to be "The Monk who sold his Ferrari" by Robin Sharma. I instantly fell in love with the way it was written and also the message that it gave. It gave me a new outlook towards Life and changed me in a positive way.
