1. Tell us about your background and journey. Why you choose this career.

My name is Alizeh Jamali I'm originally from Pakistan bought up in the United Arab Emirates I am doing my bachelor's degree from AUD, I didn't choose my career it was written by Allah when I was young I used to sketch when I was in 7th grade. 

I started practicing henna on my mother's hand on my hand I haven't taken any professional classes on how to do henna I'm a self-taught henna artist by the time I start improving and I decided on this talent I will help my family living in Dubai isn't easy it needs a lot of struggle and I don't have any big brothers so I wanted to do something for my family and Alhumdulilah I'm grateful.

2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?

My page is Ma Sha Allah 4 years old my father created this account for me when I was 16 and now I'm 20, my father knew that Instagram will be the best platform to show the world my talent but I changed the concept of my page in 2020. 

When we all were struggling with the pandemic I started blogging, promoting restaurants, homemade products, small businesses. My main motto is when I have an audience so why not helping others get work.

3. What is your dream?

My dream is to travel the whole world with my parents, I don't want a lot of fame I just want my parents should be happy, I don't want to be rich but I want to earn enough money so I can build them a house back in my country In Sha Allah.

4. What are you currently doing and What does your day look like?

Currently, I'm busy with my bridal henna bookings because it's a wedding season we already know, but due to covid, I'm taking a lot of precautions because health matters a lot. 

My day is definitely going to be busy because sometimes I have henna bookings and then I have to run to review a restaurant so yeah.

5. What piece of advice would you like to give to future aspiring artists?

I would like to tell them to be original, honest, with their work, practice will make you Perfect day by day doing henna isn't easy, establishing your career as a henna artist isn't easy it takes time, patience, motivation, and confidence.

6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

My mantra in life is Don’t wish for it, work for it.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

I don't read books not a big fan of reading but I love to write, draw
