5. Is format training required or can one train themselves purely on the basis of talent?
I agree most people are talented they can work in curtain time as well People get trained from YouTube channel or social site, as we see the reality channel most talented people but than what next ? so Training is also very important because people get easily work and get right direction. Dance is all about training under guru or dance school and I believe that direction is the key for success.
6. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring artists?
When I work I follow my own soul not to copy any other choreographer and dancer here I am sharing how I work how I find my own creation and I believe.
Just like Anand’s experimentations with modern technology and on-stage techniques for Missile Man, Utho Jaggo too has an impressive dose of these features He has worked for months to create on the stage, a spectacle of lights and shadows, mirrors, display of books, outstanding backdrops justifying the theme, and dancers showcasing their art through games and mutual interactions, among others.
- Upcoming cotempoaray dance production
- The heroes of India (freedom fighter)
- The greatest Indian ( Dr Bhim Rao Ambedekar)
- Hockey ( Maojor dhyan chand )
- Sai Aura ( Sai Sanchitra per Adharit)
Taking forward the youth legacy, the on-stage performers are also young talented artistes, selected from the over 60 candidates who came for the audition. They underwent over three months’ training on both the Indian and Western performing arts – a combination that Anand specializes in. “Fusion of different art forms is what most youngsters love today, and that is exactly is what we worked hard at for Utho Jaago,” emphasizes Anand.
7. Which is your favorite book and why?
“GOODAN” I read a book from a Indian Aurthur named Munshi Preemchand ji, the book called "Godaan- the gift of a cow". Depicts the overwhelming story of a poor farmer who desperately longs for owning a cow. Finally everything was coming together my questions. My background and the forgotten time this book. These pieces of puzzle interested me in a way that I decided to make a performance. And funny enough.
