Tsoline Bostanian - Fitness Can Boost Your Self-Esteem (Fitness Trainer)

Exercising and eating healthy makes someone healthy in general, not just physically, but also mentally. When one is physically and mentally healthy then their self-esteem grows as well as their overall outlook on life.

Tell us more about yourself and your profession.

I’ve been a personal trainer for 10 years. I provide customized coaching programs to men and women, kids, as well as people with certain conditions such as pains in various parts of their body.

Why did you decide to become a fitness trainer?

Sports has been a passion since childhood as it brings out the best in me. Moreover, not only do I like to train myself, but to help others train, lead a healthy life, and feel good about themselves.

What is your fitness mantra?

Never say never because everything is possible

How can one maintain a healthy lifestyle and how do diets and exercise contribute to overall well-being and happiness?

Exercising and eating healthy should never be a chore one has to do; they should be fun. Moreover, everyone should eat as they find fit for themselves because otherwise, they will get bored and not sustain it.

How can one build a successful career in your field?

A trainer needs to find time to invest in him or herself, to lead the clients by example, and to motivate them.

The feedback a personal trainer gives should always be constructive, and finally, a trainer should have high emotional intelligence because before training someone, a trainer is interacting with other human beings.

What is one piece of advice you would like to give someone who wishes to lose weight?

Lead your own life rather than trying to achieve a target weight. That’s the only way you can sustain it.

What are some of the challenges you are facing as an online fitness trainer?

Online is all well and good especially with the available technology, but the face-to-face element of training has a bigger human factor which I love.
