Detailed Placement Report of Shri Ram College Of Commerce for Year 2021

Shri Ram College of Commerce, a well-known college in Delhi University and the best in India for a commerce student. This college is known for its rich history and strong alumni network as well as placement. This college offers 5 different courses (B.Com Hons, B.A Economics, P.G Diploma in GBO, M.Com, M.A Economics). It has a batch size of 800+ students.

The Placement Cell strives to help 1600+ students of the batch to not only secure the best and the most promising offers to give the right kickstart to their career, but also equip them with industry-specific knowledge and exposure.

There have been consistent recruitments by multinational firms and renowned corporate giants like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, J.P Morgan, etc. as well as venerated firms such as Byju’s. The successful recruitment session also witnessed corporate collaborations in the form of assorted articles and fellowship opportunities, offered by the likes of esteemed consulting firms such as PwC, McKinsey & Company, BCG, Bain, and Company, etc.

The first phase of the recruitment season 2020-2021 (Sep’20 - Dec’20) turned out to be a success. They received a total of 134 offers and the highest package stood at 25 lakhs per annum. There were a total of 24 recruiters. The average package for this season was 9.8 LPA and the gross value reached 13.1 Crores. 

The average package was 7.33 LPA earlier which increased to 9.8 LPA. As well as the gross value increased from 10.6 Crores to 13.1 Crores. This time Pre Placement Offer reached 22 which is the highest ever in Phase 1.

Conclusion

Placement offers were increased by 142% in this Phase which is a very big number. And this is the reason why SRCC is known for its best ROI.As well as many students didn’t sit in the placement as they wanted to pursue post-graduate or CA, Civil service examination, etc.
