1. Tell us about your background and journey.
I'm the younger child of Late Vinod Pachauri and Late Yasha Pachauri, I am a brahmin born in Mumbai with my roots belonging to Uttar Pradesh and have spent a decade and half of my life learning the culture of the country’s capital city, Delhi. This diversity in my upbringing and the tragic event of bidding adieu to my parents at the most delicate time of my life has made me who I am today.
I took my initial step towards an independent living after my graduation from Agra’s Bhimrao Ambedkar University, as an executive for FMCG brand PriyaGold. But when I thought life could not be any better, it transported me to an unexpected road that ended at the gate of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha and its affiliated Akshardham Temple New Delhi.
10 years in the organization as a follower, volunteer and PR Administrator instructed me how to handle life’s ying-yang and keep the best foot forward, even in the most adverse situations. Holding on to these tools, I spent the next 5 years of my life serving as a PR administrator and event planner to celebrities, sports players, and television shows.
Life was going well, but still, something was missing. My soul was not satisfied, my mind was satiated. So I decided to take a major turn in the journey of my life. I set out to explore the path of direction and filmmaking, giving the creative edge of my mind, ample room to bend. This new journey started from the hallways of IFTDA where I gained my professional degree in direction and am undergoing my course in editing. The institution helped me awaken my hawk’s eye for filmmaking and helped me land a spot as a crucial member of FWICE and the Nadiadwala’s Brothers.
This new journey has just begun, but I am sure it will take me to the finish point that my heart desires. The shift from an executive to a PR administrator and then to a movie critic and director was not easy, but it was worth the pain and wait. It made me a better human being and an even better cinematic analyser.

2. What inspired you to become a film director?
It was my childhood dream to direct a film. But as time progressed, I also kept on moving with the times, God had a big role in this that he had to get me to serve him and at a young age, I reached where it takes life for people to reach, and then 15 years.
After rendering a great service in my Public Relations Department As PUBLIC RELATIONS ADMINISTRATOR, I came to Mumbai with the blessings of all the elders there. And then I made my childhood dream come true and the hard work continues. I am currently learning film direction and film editing with my mentor Farooq Abdul Karim Nadiadwala. I am coming soon with a film myself.

Becoming a Film Director
More and more schools are offering bachelor’s and master’s in film directing. Most film directors typically hold a bachelor’s in film or a related field and have several years of work experience. They often begin their film directing career as a film editor, actor, or assistant to an established director.
Academy of Art University and Full Sail University, both accredited for-profit institutions, offer online bachelor’s degrees in film with a curriculum that thoroughly covers directing and many other aspects of film production. Film programs typically require students to complete one, sometimes several films. Example classes in a film or film directing program include:
- Film and Video Production
- Feature Script Analysis
- Film History
- Post Production
In order to coordinate the talents of what can be a large number of people working together to create a film, directors must develop strong leadership, management, and communication skills. Film directors also use their creative skills to bring a film script to life. As a film director’s reputation grows, he or she may advance to larger, more expensive projects.

I would like everyone to read it, considering it as a book, read it only and read it, they themselves will have a divine feeling.
