1. Tell us about your background and journey.
Gagan Porwal is an Entrepreneur and YouTuber. He has a YouTube Channel named The GaGan. He is also the founder and CEO of VP Media, a well-known marketing agency that provides good content creators and YouTubers to the brands to advertise their products. He is born in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh.
2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?
He was not very good at study. So, there is no option for him to go ahead with this. One day, He was watching on YouTube that a 12 years old boy was doing excellent acting in a video. At that time, he thought if that boy can do this type of acting then why did he can't.
Then, he talked with his friends regarding starting his own YouTube Channel. Everybody supported his decision. He started making videos and also getting good responses on his video. Today, he has already achieved the silver button and many more to his ways for sure.
3. Is vlogging and YouTube content creation a financially sustainable career?
To be honest, if you are looking to make money in a short time by doing content creation on any platform then it's not possible. You have to be consistent with your content and also have to increase the qualities of your video over the period of time. If you are doing this, then after a certain period of time you will get the growth and in long term, you will be able to make a lot of money through it.
4. Who is your favorite creator and why?
His favorite creator is Harsh Beniwal and Swagger Sharma. He loves their content, creativity, and also the topic they chose to make videos on.
5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?
See, there are a lot of things going on around the world. I just observe the people and situations around my surroundings and get inspiration from them for my content.
6. What does your typical day look like?
I am either busy shooting for my youtube videos or busy managing my own media and advertising company called VP Media. So, My whole day is busy working for my Company and for my YouTube channel.
7. Which is your favorite book and why?
Actually, I am not a person who loves to read this book and all. I am a great observer and see the things which are happening around my surroundings. So, I haven't read any books yet. Hope in the future, I will start reading these books and all.
8. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?
I just only want to say that if you are really passionate about content creation then only come to this profession. You just have to be consistent with your content. Your time will also come. Just believe in yourself, everything is possible.
