Consistency is the main key to any success. If you are updating yourself and your work day by day, you will definitely get the Genuine listeners of your music.
1. Tell us more about your background and journey.
I belong to the Middle class Brahmin family from Ratlam (mp) & My father is Pujari. I started my musical career in 2016 as a Singer & since then I have released many songs on YouTube and music platforms & Musical live Shows. My first song was Suni Suni Sadko, Which got a huge response from my City. That time for the first time my news was covered by city newspapers like Dainik Bhaskar, Patrika etc.
2. When did you first decide you wanted to pursue music and how did you start?
In my college days I was not that good at my study and was impressed by HIP HOP Songs and Rap Artists like Eminem, Raftaar and Honey Singh. I started writing my own Rap songs in a book in 2013 and from that time I started thinking about releasing my own songs, but due to less knowledge and due to financial issues it did not happen that time.
In between college days started working at an MNC call center in 2015-2016 and saved some money for my first music video. That's how I had released the first song in my Hustle days.
3. Who is your favourite artist and why?
Globally I Love Eminem as i said i was inspired by his HipHop songs from my College days. I was learning how to rap and His songs are so inspired to me that his songs worked for me as a teacher.
I was also inspired by Raftaar from the Indian Hip Hop Scene, That time Rap Music was so underrated and Raftaar released his Swag Mera Desi in 2014. That song is in my mind till date. From that song I got goosebumps.
4. Can you throw some light on opportunities one gets as a Rapper?
As I said previously, Hip Hop is now rising in India but still there are not that many opportunities for Rap Artists. I had started my journey as an Independent artist and later on got some Live events. Also working with Some mainstream Artists and that songs will be released at the end of 2021.
In India there is not an easy decision to become a full time rapper until you get some deals from Labels or until you get your own shoes payoff. it took me 4-5 years to understand the business part of Rap Music and once you get that part you can get more opportunities.
5. Is format training required or can one train themselves purely on the basis of talent?
Haha! This is my favorite question as it belongs to my past. I don't think so nowadays it is compulsory to take any training to become a PRO into your field. I started learning RAP and Verses from The Internet and from my favorite rappers like Eminem and Raftaar. I also learned to make music from the Internet and now I can Compose and Produce the Music by myself.
It's the time where we can learn many things related to us from the internet and then good practice can make us PRO in that work. That is my own Experience. Also if you belong to a good financial family you can get the training from Classed and Online Platforms. Again, it totally depends on you, if you are eager to learn, no one can stop you from training by yourself.
6. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring artists?
Consistency is the main key to any success. If you are updating yourself and your work day by day, you will definitely get the Genuine listeners of your music.
Have Patience and don't move fast, First Learn properly, Do good practice and move slowly slowly, this will give you potential and more stability into your career.
