Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is an Indian movie that was released on 15 July 2011. The film’s story follows three childhood friends, who reunite for a three–week road trip. They set off to Spain for this.

Synopsis – Spoiler Alert!
The movie begins with Kabir Dewan getting engaged to Natasha Arora. While, Kabir, Arjun and Imran are very good friends. Kabir has planned a three–week trip to Spain for all three of them. Arjun is initially reluctant to go as he does not want to miss his work but in the end, reaches Spain.
During the road trip, each one of them will pick an adventure sport of his choice and all three of them will have to try it together.
So first they go to Costa Brava where Kabir has chosen Deep sea diving for them. Arjun is reluctant to go on that as he has hydrophobia but Kabir tells him that they also have an instructor with them, who is Laila.
Arjun initially fears water but Laila helps him with the diving and helps him overcome all his fears and complete the sport. Then on the suggestion of Laila, all of them Visit Bunol to attend the La Tomatina festival along with Laila’s friend, Nuria. And therein they enjoy it a lot.
While all this, Kabir and Laila realize that they have fallen in love with each other. So, when the three of them part, Laila and Arjun have a passionate kiss before bidding goodbye.
The next destination was Seville, where Arjun had chosen sky diving for them. All three of them, highly fearful, go sky diving and really feel contented at having done that.
Back in Costa Brava, Imran had met his estranged biological father, Salman Habib, who gets the three of them out of jail in Seville where they had landed due to their prank on a guy.
The last destination of the trip is Pamplona, where Imran had chosen the running of the bulls for them. The three of them survive the highly fatal, dangerous and dreadful sport. After this, Arjun and Laila get married. And Kabir calls off his marriage with Natasha as he does not love her and the engagement between them was just due to a misunderstanding between them.
About the Director
Zoya Akhtar is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Hindi cinema. She was born on 14 October 1972. Akhtar is the recipient of several accolades, including four Filmfare awards.
Some of her notable works are Luck by Chance(2009), Bombay Talkies(2013), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara(2011), Lust Stories, Gully Boy(2019), Dil Dhadakne Do(2015), Made in Heaven and Ghost Stories. Other films directed by her are Talaash(2012), Sheila ki Jawani.
Personal Opinion
The movie is really good to watch. It offers you two hours of rejuvenation and refreshment from a monotonous and mundane life.
This movie is a reflection of what a true friendship looks like. The three friends despite having differences in them are very close to each other. The three of them despite staying so far away from each other and for so long, have an unbreakable bond between them.
This movie also teaches us to take a break from our work and not forget to enjoy our life. We should live each and every moment of our life.
It is not just a movie but a feeling for many.
In a Nutshell
I would highly recommend this movie for everyone to watch at least once. The movie is really a delightful experience. The songs of the movie also add up to its excellence.
My rating for the movie is 5 on 5.
