Sometimes we create content on current social problems so that we could motivate youngsters and give them cheers to a positive life.
1. Tell us about your background and
journey.
We are basically from Kannur Thalassery proper place Andalur but settled in Bangalore for the past 18 years with family. Meeth is basically from a hospitality background and working in a luxury brand as a regional manager. Rithusha Miri working in an MNC as a senior software engineer.
We
got married on 2018 Nov 24th as an arranged marriage.
We
were not popular till marriage. After marriage, we started making TikTok but
initially, it was not great in terms of views and fans. Then one golden day our
Tamil romantic duo song went viral and gained from 30k fans to 350k. It gave us
a lot of criticism and support. Then we understood fans love to watch us
together from the day we started making TikTok together and it became normal.
Later for a function, we happened to come to our native Kannur then we just
started our own voice Kannur slang videos and that gave us a boom in TikTok.
Our popularity increased and People around our place started recognizing our
faces.
Wherever
we go people use to come and talk to us and take selfies etc. As a creator, we
always enjoy fans’ love. Then the heart broke came that TikTok ban. Then we
couldn’t stop ourselves from making videos so we found Instagram and YouTube as
the platform for us to reach out to fans. At the same time, we also got
invitations for one of the famous tv programs MR & MRS.
In
this reality show, we won the award as the most popular couple selected by the
public. The show has given us a break. We become more popular on social media
as well as with family audiences through tv screens. We also awarded as MOST
POPULAR FASHION AND COMEDY COUPLE INFLUENCER AWARD FROM LOCAL INVESTORS SUBMIT

As
of now, we have near 1 Million followers on YouTube.
The most popular viral video on YouTube got over 96million views.

What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?

Sometimes we create content on current social problems so that we could motivate youngsters and give them cheers to a positive life.
We do lots of brand endorsements and promotions through our Chanel. This content creation was my passion but now it has become my profession so I never become bored of what I do. I become more energetic and creative. And every day is a new day to learn and create. We do lots of photo shoots for brands that give us a lot of opportunities to explore fashion and style. I would love to mention our MOST VIRAL photo shoot PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, SHAKUNTALA, love at the beach, Maternity, etc.….
One
of the beachside photo shoots became viral and controversial on all social media
platforms. An incident made us to be strong and learn to be strong against
negativity. It thought us how to survive from negative comments and critics.

How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?
I don’t feel much difference these days because I feel every blogger is now an influencer and visa-versa. An influencer is someone who influences people through the content. An influencer is a person who is regarded as an expert within their particular field that also has a steady following.
People trust their opinions, and thus their endorsements carry a considerable amount of weight. There is a growing interest in experts who have a large social influence and presence via social media.

Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?
I would say YES and 100% from my personal experience. There is a lot of scope in this digital world if you are an influencer. There are plenty of brands who want to promote their product through influencers and bloggers. It’s very easy to reach targeted audiences through bloggers.
Companies and brands check the influencer profile behavior and choose the best for them to promote the brand. As you know, digital marketing has become a priority for many brands. Even movies and songs are promoted by short video creators like us. So, there is a lot of scope if you give your hard work and creativity.

What do you think influences consumer behavior?
Trust. That’s the only one point I believe. You have to be very truthful. And be simple and humble. Give value.

What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?
My mantra is never ever given up in life or on your goals. The shortcut is not the solution. If you want to be successful then do your hard work, be creative, learn to love what you do, and never compare yourself with others. Learn from mistakes. Love yourself, and appreciate others. Never forget the path you come from. Always keep a target for yourself, think less, and do more. Never be sad for failures. Only failure will teach you to be successful.

How can someone become a successful social media influencer?
Same answer as I said just before, there are no shortcuts, be consistent, be smart, give hard work, and bring your best out best. Success can’t buy or u get overnights. It needs to be earned. If you wanna be successful in social media, be AUTHENTIC, CREATIVE, love your fans, always be updated about new trends, be an inspiration to your fans and get inspired from people, learn from others. Keep patients.

Which is your favorite book and why?
Always Mahabharata and Ramayana
You
can learn a lot of lessons, you don’t need any other books to learn about
culture, attitudes, character, mental strength, the value of relation, so much
u can learn.
