School Life
School
life is the best time of life in anyone’s lifetime. When we are in school, the
only things that mattered to us were our friends, games periods, teachers we
hate, the teacher we love, subjects we used to hate to learn, subjects that
were easy for us, when our exams gonna end, how many gaps we are getting before
math exam? what’s in our tiffin, why lunch breaks are so short, our favorite
kinds of pen, pen fights, playing cricket with silver foil wrap ball and exam
board, water bottles, and water coolers, fights with our friends over stupid
stuff, having ice creams after school, etc. there are lots and lots of memories
of our school life.
We
used to think about careers, not as tension or worry about our future but as
something we are going to do in the future, something we are going to achieve.
We had many goals, many likes, dislikes about career options and most
importantly we used to choose our career plans according to our current hobbies
and activities we used to catch interest in.
Earlier
then we used to explore ourselves in different paths and had our minds open,
full of new creative ideas, relaxed without future worries, and also used to
get distracted easily by something new.
It
was all our learning stages. Though it is said and also we indeed learn for our
whole life. But there are some things that only school life can teach us and
that is how we grow with our friends, how we share food with our friends, how
we make friends, how we say sorry when we make someone upset because of us, how
to tie shoe laces, how to get up early every day, rather than friendship and
playful life school has also taught us a lot of discipline which is needed the
most in a person’s life to be successful in life.
What’s After School?
Tension,
worries, career, family, future studies, responsibilities, and whatnot, the
whole world in front of you. After school life comes the real examinations of
our life.
Where
you have to ace in career, as our family members always expect the best from us
as according to them they have the best for us, so that complimentarily. Even
we want the best for ourselves, the best kind of lifestyle, the best car in the
market, the best quality of clothes, a better house, luxury furniture in the house,
a good life partner, a six-digit salary per month, and whatnot.
But
this all comes against some value and that is hard work which we do after our
school life.
We
all come out of our comfort zone just to work hard and pay hard for what we
want in our lives and what our families want from us.
Half
of the generation usually leave their households, their hometown and go to
other big cities to do their further studies for a better future as in big
cities the universities provide better placement cells and also we learn to how
to handle ourselves on our own by also looking towards our studies and getting
self-dependent.
After
school, it’s not just about our studies but when we are growing old achieving
our life goals means while our parents also get old and with that we get a
responsibility to look after them too.
Here
comes the responsibilities of our families which are mandatory to us.
When
we come to this stage of our life we no longer have that mindset we used to have
when we were children. We can’t think of doing things that we want to do at
that particular point in time and can only follow that like our earlier stages
of life. Now we do things which are required to do even if we are not willing
to do that. Here we no longer think in hundred ways and go and follow those
paths because now it feels like the time is running and we gotta do things that
should be according to our situation and not want we want to do. We no longer
think in the kind of creative manner we used to. Our minds get caged inside a
jar where we only get a few minutes to think with a deadline what we have made
or some other person we have permitted to.
It’s
not wrong to do what’s right for your future but we should always keep that
child alive in us which makes us feel alive, and creative because that is how
we grow.
