I began my career with singing, and it was destiny that led me to acting. Opportunities in acting came my way, and I embraced them wholeheartedly. Politics has always intrigued me, and I see it as the next chapter of my journey. It’s an exploration of something I’ve always been passionate about, and I’m eager to see where it leads.
Q2. How did learning music from your mother at the age of five influence your career?
In Bengal, music is deeply embedded in our culture. My mother, a Rabindra Sangeet singer, was my first inspiration. Watching her sing fueled my passion, and I naturally followed in her footsteps.
Q3. What was the toughest part of transitioning from singing to acting?
It was incredibly challenging because I had no prior knowledge of acting. However, observing other actors during auditions and learning through experience helped me grow. Self-belief played a crucial role in overcoming my initial struggles.
Q4. How do you choose your roles, and what kind of characters excite you?
I pick roles based on their potential to elevate my career. Challenges motivate me, and I’m drawn to roles that allow me to push my limits. Life has taught me to face challenges head-on, and I apply the same attitude to my career.
Q5. Milkha Singh inspired your fitness journey. How do you maintain your fitness amidst a busy schedule?
Meeting Milkha Singh was a turning point for me. His journey from nothing to greatness inspires me every day. I prioritize fitness by sticking to a routine, working out regularly, and following a healthy diet. It’s all about focus and dedication.
Q6. What inspired your entry into politics, and what do you hope to achieve?
Since childhood, I’ve envisioned entering politics in the later stages of my career. Now, I’m exploring this aspiration. My dream is to serve the nation, work towards eradicating poverty, and uplift the underprivileged.
Q7. What did performing at the World Youth Forum mean to you?
It was a moment of immense pride to represent India on a global platform and perform in front of the Egyptian President. It’s an experience I’ll cherish forever.
Q8. How do you balance your roles as a singer, actor, and social media influencer?
I focus on myself and my goals. I minimize distractions, maintain a disciplined lifestyle, and channel my energy into my work. This approach helps me juggle my responsibilities efficiently.
Q9. If you could star in a biopic, whose life would you portray?
I would love to portray Rani Lakshmibai. She was powerful and dominant—a true inspiration for women everywhere.
