"Being authentic in my choices allows me to share content that feels honest, relatable, and useful rather than just following trends for the sake of it."

Q. You describe yourself as a “lawyer turned beauty & fashion enthusiast” What was the decisive moment that made you pivot from law to content creation and beauty?

I have always considered myself a creative individual. Engaging in creative work allows me to perform at my best both mentally and emotionally. I recognized that I could apply my creativity in a way that generates income, rather than pursuing a career in a sector that I found unfulfilling from the outset.

Q.Your feed beautifully blends personal style with expert beauty insights. How do you balance authenticity with creative direction when curating content?

I began my social media journey by creating vlog-style content on YouTube. However, I soon realized that sharing the details of my personal life with a public audience was neither beneficial to my well-being nor particularly valuable to viewers.

After obtaining professional makeup certifications, I worked with a prestigious brand for three years. This experience motivated me to shift my focus toward creating beauty-related content that is both informative and genuinely helpful to others.

Q. Beauty and fashion trends evolve rapidly. How do you decide which trends are worth sharing and which to skip?

Trends come and go very quickly, so I’m selective about what I share. I only choose trends that I genuinely connect with and would use myself, especially ones that feel practical, wearable, and beneficial for everyday life.

If a trend doesn’t align with my personal style, values, or what I know will truly help my audience, I prefer to skip it. Being authentic in my choices allows me to share content that feels honest, relatable, and useful rather than just following trends for the sake of it.

Q. Looking ahead, what’s one project or milestone you’re most excited about for the next year, whether in beauty, fashion, or entrepreneurship?

I aim to participate in more brand-focused shoots, as I completed several last year and found the experience highly rewarding. This year, I am particularly interested in collaborating with other creatives within the photography and videography sectors.

Additionally, I aspire to increase my visibility among beauty brands that have not yet discovered my work. Above all, my goal is to continue producing informative content that provides genuine value and meaningful support to my audience.

Q. If you had to build a themed makeup look inspired by a song or movie, which one would it be and why?

I would build a themed makeup look inspired by Kalamantina by Saint Levant, as the song represents freedom, identity, and cultural pride, particularly in relation to Palestine.

The inspiration would translate into a bold yet intentional aesthetic—using strong lines, rich tones, and symbolic details to reflect resilience and self-expression. For me, makeup is not only about beauty but also storytelling, and Kalamantina offers a powerful narrative that can be expressed through fashion-forward artistry while honouring heritage, strength, and freedom.
