We didn’t want to wait for ‘someday’ to travel, we decided to build a life around it

Q. You both are literally “living out of suitcases”-how did your travel journey begin and what pushed you to take this leap?

Our journey began with a simple intention-to spend more meaningful time together before life became busier. Just before our wedding, we took a trip to Vietnam, and that experience became a turning point for us. It wasn’t merely about exploring a new destination, but about discovering a different way of living-one that felt more liberating, present, and aligned with who we truly are.

After returning, going back to a conventional routine felt restrictive. We realized we didn’t want to postpone our dreams for “someday”; instead, we wanted to build a life centered around travel. We began by creating and sharing our experiences, and over time, transformed that passion into a full-time lifestyle. While the decision was initially daunting, it felt instinctively right-and that gave us the confidence to take the leap.

Q. Traveling as a duo must be exciting-how do you balance roles, decisions, and creative direction together?

It’s exciting, but also a constant learning process. Over time, we’ve naturally fallen into roles based on our strengths. One of us leans more towards storytelling and creative direction, while the other focuses on planning, logistics, and execution. That said, every decision is mutual. Whether it’s choosing a destination or finalizing a reel, we discuss everything thoroughly. There are disagreements, of course, but we’ve learned that communication is key. We don’t aim to “win” arguments-we aim to create something we both feel proud of.

At the end of the day, we see ourselves not just as partners in life, but also as teammates building something meaningful together.

Q. From all the destinations you’ve explored, which place has left the biggest impact on you personally and why?

Mountains will always hold a special place in our hearts. There’s something incredibly grounding about them-they slow you down and encourage reflection.

If we had to choose one place, Himachal Pradesh has deeply impacted us. The simplicity of life, the warmth of the people, and the stillness of the mountains made us question the fast-paced lifestyle we were used to. It didn’t just feel like a destination-it felt like a glimpse into a different way of living.

That’s also where our dream of someday owning a home in the mountains comes from.

Q. Your content feels very raw and real-how do you capture authentic moments while constantly being on the move?

For us, authenticity comes from not over-planning everything. We don’t travel just to create content-we create content because we’re traveling. We try to stay present in the moment and capture experiences as they naturally unfold, rather than staging every shot. Often, the best moments are the unplanned ones-the laughter between takes, the chaos, and the in-between snippets.

We also keep our setup simple, allowing us to shoot quickly without disrupting the experience. Most importantly, we share not just the highlights, but also the imperfect, real side of travel-that’s what people truly connect with.

Q. Being associated with brands like GoPro and Adobe Express is huge-how did those collaborations come your way?

It has been a very organic journey. We focused on consistently creating content that felt true to us rather than chasing brand collaborations. Over time, brands like GoPro and Adobe Express discovered our work and resonated with our storytelling approach. What made a difference was not just the visuals, but the intent behind our content-we weren’t just showcasing destinations, we were sharing experiences and emotions.

We also believe in building a strong personal brand and maintaining professionalism in every collaboration. When brands see consistency, authenticity, and reliability, opportunities naturally follow.

Q. What are some underrated travel tips or hacks that every traveler should know but most people miss?

Traveling slowly allows you to truly immerse yourself in a place rather than rushing through multiple destinations. Starting your day early can make a big difference, offering quieter surroundings, softer light, and a more peaceful experience. Packing minimally adds to your ease and flexibility, making movement much simpler. Engaging with locals often leads to more authentic recommendations than relying solely on the internet. Keeping your itinerary adaptable opens the door to unexpected and memorable moments, and instead of chasing popular “Instagram spots,” exploring lesser-known places often results in more meaningful and unique experiences.

Q. For someone who dreams of turning travel into a lifestyle or career, what practical advice would you give to get started?

Start before you feel ready. You don’t need the best gear or perfect skills-just begin sharing your journey.

Focus on consistency over perfection. Learn the art of storytelling, understand your audience, and most importantly, find your unique voice. There may be many travel creators, but no one can tell your story the way you can. Also, treat it like a business from the start. Learn how to pitch to brands, build a portfolio, and diversify your income streams.

Lastly, be patient. It doesn’t happen overnight-but if you remain consistent and true to your journey, it will happen.
