Glenn Ratcliffe - To Be An Actor You First Must Understand Your Pure Awareness And Get Your Ego Out Of The Way As Your Impurities & Insecurities (Actor, UK)

I never dreamt of being an actor but I always had a fascination with plays. And when I saw characters on TV I could empathize with them and easily become them

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I came from humble beginnings born in London then six months later moved to Scotland. I always had a spiritual curiosity and had several spiritual awakenings early on. I remember the minister coming to school all the way through for years to 18 years. I was raised as a protestant. I played soccer and love the game : I came to America and I had a death experience in the car where my soul spiraled out of my body and went into the sun. I became the length and breadth of the sun and pure awareness and creation was revealed to me and I saw my interconnectedness to all mankind. This led to a spiritual search where I was initiated into RAJA yoga. The teachings of Yogananda, Tm meditation also supreme yoga based on the Bhagavad Gita. Then three years ago I went to Taiwan to get initiated into the Quan yin technique by Master Ching Hai ;I continue my journey with frequent meditation prayer and reading. After that I channeled down the movie “Tested” with the intention of spiritually liberating mankind from bondage. If you study the book of revelation, the prophecies of Nostradamus and all great spiritual text you’ll see clearly we are in a spiritual battle, the ecological chain is breaking big pharma is giving drugs out like candy homelessness is rampant, financial and political institutions are confused, and there’s a subject object consciousness which is creating a dichotomy between all people. The purpose of “The tested project” is to unite mankind and give people back their dignity by giving them knowledge and understanding of who they really are. The movie is entertaining and eye-opening. We are still trying to get funding; you can review the movie at Tested

2. Did you ever think or dream of being an actor?

I never dreamt of being an actor but I always had a fascination with plays. And when I saw characters on TV, I could empathize with them and easily become them, I drifted into it by mistake when I took my friend to an acting class where they were doing an improvisation scene where I was in a locker room and my team had lost the game, being a former pro soccer player I had an immediate connection to the emotional empathy needed for the part, so it was easy for me; the teacher loved it, I said,”I was only being truthful in imaginary circumstances”. The teacher said that’s what Acting is! The rest is history.

3. How can one approach their career and have the confidence and belief to become an actor?

I believe to be an actor you first must understand you are pure awareness and get your ego out of the way, as your impurities and insecurities will taint  the authors character and intent. You simply must “be” the character, listen intentively and respond truthfully to stimulus.

4. If not this, what would you be doing?

I would be a minister or a book writer if I wasn’t an actor with the intention of liberating mankind from spiritual bondage.

5. For a complete outsider with inroads, what advice would you like to give?

My advice for any inroads is, simplicity, patience, compassion and to always go the extra mile, never never give up and know your dream is already created in the quantum field, and synchronize your mind and heart and act as if it’s already accomplished.

6. What is your mantra of success?

My mantra for success is “love is the key”.

7. Which is your favourite book and why?

I love all great spiritual books and all great teachings. The one I’m reading now is from Dr. Joe Dispenza called “becoming supernatural” he talks about going to the quantum field of all potentiality; some of the stories are about sick people, and when they come back from the Meditation they’re healed. I believe in that as I think diseases is simply lack of harmony, and if we could all go to the quantum field and heal I believe the world would be a better place.
