Q. How do you usually introduce yourself to someone who thinks magic is just about tricks and illusions?

Magic is a beautiful art form that gives you the child-like sense of wonder. I perform magic with the intention of spreading smiles and not fooling someone, so I don’t like the term trick as I genuinely believe in magic.

Q. Your content features celebrities, live audiences, and real-time reactions—how do you balance authenticity with the pressure to constantly ‘wow’ in the age of short-form content?

My key focus is to give the best experience to my live audience. If I’m able to also capture some beautiful moments from the event, it’s an added bonus. Short-form content is the need of the hour and can’t be completely ignored as it’s the best marketing tool in today’s time. 

For me, the real magic is the beautiful reactions of the lovely people I get to perform with, and hence, you might have observed that people are the main focus in my reels rather than me focusing on myself.

Q. You’re often called a “luxury entertainer.” What elevates a performance from entertaining to premium?

It’s a conscious decision to brand myself as a luxury entertainer because I’m currently focusing on big-fat weddings and corporate events. What elevates one to premium entertainment is the ability of excellent presentation, showmanship and tailor customised acts based on event requirements.

Q. In mentalism, reading people is key. What’s one subtle human behaviour most people miss, but you always notice?

Mentalism is a combination of psychology with magic principles and showmanship to create an illusion of reading minds. I like to approach my audience with kindness & empathy and give them a once in a life time experience.

Q.You’ve performed across cities and cultures—from Mumbai to international audiences. What’s one universal human reaction that transcends language and geography?

Magic has no language or boundaries; I can connect with anyone across the world through the language of magic. I love it when adults behave like kids around me while experiencing true magic, and I feel fortunate to give them an experience where they forget all their life problems for a few moments.

Q. If you had to read the mind of one historical figure for a live show, who would it be and what would you ask them?

Performing for SRK and Sachin Tendulkar has always been on my bucket list. SRK is one of the most charismatic people I know; his aura is magic, and experiencing magic with him would be something. Also, I have grown up watching Tendulkar carrying the weight of the nation for two decades. Despite all the laurels, his humility is what attracts me the most.
